Nowy szef organizacji Bellator zabrał się za porządki w firmie. Pierwszym ruchem Scotta Cokera było zwolnienie ponad dwudziestu zawodników, którzy zapewne szybko staną się łakomym kąskiem dla innych federacji MMA. Były szef Strikeforce odebrał pracę takim zawodnikom jak Sergej Grecicho, Nathan Coy czy Eric Prindle.
